HTC is a well known telecommunication company and very famous in smartphone market because of the innovative work they done in previous years. They work not only to innovate new technology in smartphones but also do their best in designing amazing and beautiful devices. HTC has launched HTC One smartphone last year which was pretty amazing device and went very well. Since then they are working under the same flagship and trying to improve it further. There have been a lot of speculations and rumors about the successor of HTC One and now most of these speculations have come true as HTC One (M8) has became official.
So now as most of you would have their hands on this brilliant smartphone, lets give you people a brief overview of this stunning device. As previously HTC One has 70% of steel body it is a great improvement and gives HTC One (M8) an even sleeker body as it has 90% of body made with steel. Talking about the design of HTC One (M8) it has 5-inch of screen which is an improvement as compared to 4.7-inch of the predecessor HTC One. Although having 5-inch screen size but still got the same 1080p resolution which makes the screen brighter and dynamic. So you can watch pictures and videos with more screen size and even better result.
HTC One (M8) has the same frontal speakers as that of HTC One which was quite incredible as having new audio beats technology. HTC called these as Boom Sound stereo speakers as for the louder sound they create which is 25% more than the previous HTC One. HTC One (M8) has onscreen hardware keys which make it even same sized of its predecessor. It has a power key on it side along with the volume keys. Camera is placed on the back which is actually a dual camera with dual flash. HTC One (M8) is also equipped with a frontal camera.
As talking about the bigger screen and very high resolution of the HTC One (M8), it also needs an adequate battery to endure that much load. HTC One (M8) is equipped with a 2,600 mAh battery which is quite impressive as it can withstand for 30 hours and still have 10% of life remaining. A test to check the battery life of HTC One (M8) shows that it crossed the 7 hour mark which is quite excellent as it is more than other any other smartphone with same specifications. As for LG G Pro 2 and LG G2 the battery life is of 6 hours and 48 minutes it is a great achievement for HTC to launch a device for such impressive battery life. We still want to see what Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 brings in terms of battery life but so far HTC One (M8) is on top of the chart.
To make things work even faster HTC One (M8) is equipped with 2.3 GHz Krait 400 Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM in United States, Europe, Africa and Middle East while an improved 2.5 GHz Krait 400 Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM for Asian countries. This is the best processor technology so far and makes HTC One (M8) a dream device due to its amazing speed.
HTC One (M8) has dual camera to gather depth information and more elaborated pictures and videos. It has a 4MP camera having 1/3-inch sensor, 2 micron sized pixels and another camera located above to capture the stereoscopic image just like human eye. Now this is what we called as innovation to capture the nature in natural way. HTC named it as dual camera as it can capture the image by calculating the relative distance between objects. This camera lacks the optical image stabilization feature and use digital image stabilization feature instead. HTC One (M8) can capture images faster as the camera need only 0.3 seconds to stabilize the focus.
As far as the flash is concerned it is also an improved technology as it has dual flash. One of which is cold and the other is warm LED which helps in low light conditions to have even better camera result. HTC One (M8) also has an improved frontal camera which is a 5MP camera instead of 2.1MP of its predecessor.
HTC One (M8) uses the Android 4.4 KitKat version which is latest so far from Android. For those who needs an unrestricted access to the phone they can also have the Developer Edition of HTC One (M8) which is available almost at the same price. As this Developer Edition is made available for $649 and that of Google Play Edition is available for $699. HTC One (M8) also has one of the most amazing feature named as Sense 6 which will allow the user to quickly open camera and unlock the phone while the screen if turned off. This new feature also allow the user to use the device with much ease and comfort as user can double tap or slide the finger from bottom to top to wake the phone.
HTC One (M8) is also the first smartphone to use carrier aggregation which is in actual the binding of two down link transmissions to enhance the signal quality as well as the signal speed. This carrier aggregation is to be used in LTE-advanced networks as AT&T is the first carrier in U.S to use carrier aggregation. Samsung Galaxy S5 is also said to use carrier aggregation but is still to be launched so that makes HTC One (M8) first ever to use this technology.
