John Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth recognizes children who are exceptional in academics and opens a plethora of opportunities for them. In SCAT, students have to take a test that is more difficult than their current grade level. To achieve this feat, they not only have to be extremely fluent in the current course work but also need to prepare for more. SCAT tests the verbal and quantitative concepts of students. Although preparation can be difficult, clearing SCAT can be extremely beneficial for all age groups.
